It all started with a wonderfully awkward phone call. Hana had seemingly “ghosted” a job interview at Obsidian—though, in her defense, nobody had actually told her it was happening!
Against all odds, Hana’s crumpled CV was rescued from the trash, leading to an interview where Patrick’s hands were shaking so much and he could barely make eye contact - it didn’t take long for the sparks to start flying.
Four years, three apartments, two countries of residence, and one remarkably talented dancing boy later, the debate still rages on over who said ‘I love you’ first. (Let’s be honest: it was Patrick. It was definitely Patrick.)
In August 2024, on a beach in Bali at sunset, Hana turned around to find Patrick down on one knee. But just as he held out the ring, a wave rolled in and completely soaked his foot and knee. Naturally, he didn’t drop the ring or even lost eye contact - because who cares about soggy shoes when you’re busy securing a ‘yes’?

Casual Waves & Aloha Vibes
Think tropical shirts, breezy linens, and your favorite swimwear. We’re keeping it entirely laid-back, sun-soaked, and social. Bring your best sunglasses, an open mind, and a swimsuit—pool jumping is highly encouraged, and awkward tan lines are completely optional.
What to wear
Aloha shirts, sundresses, shorts, flip-flops, and swimwear. If it’s comfortable and looks good under a palm tree, you’re doing it right.
Vibrant, Festive & Colorful
We’re kicking things off with incredible food and even better energy, so we want the wardrobe to match! Leave the monochrome at home—this night is all about bright colors, fun patterns, and feeling festive. Let’s make the photos look as vibrant as a Tuscan sunset (and maybe choose patterns that can cleverly hide a stray drop of pizza sauce).
What to wear
Smart-casual but make it colorful. Bold dresses, bright shirts, fun trousers, and shoes you can easily mingle in. The brighter, the better!
Elegant & Sophisticated (Bring Your A-Game!)
This is the big moment, and we are going all out. We want our favorite people looking absolute top-tier. We’re talking sharp suits, stunning dresses, and high-effort glamour. Patrick is promising to keep his feet dry for this one, so we need everyone else to step up and bring their absolute best.
What to wear
Formal attire. Sharp suits with ties or bowties, and elegant evening or cocktail dresses. Dress to impress—we want you looking so good the paparazzi might show up.
The venue is located roughly 2 hours and 20 minutes from both Pisa Airport (PSA) and Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO).
We have reserved the entire estate to ourselves for both Wednesday and Thursday night, meaning you can celebrate late into the evening and stumble no further than upstairs.
Rooms at the venue are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to stay right in the heart of the action with us, you can request a room as part of your RSVP below. We will confirm your room and the details by email once the RSVP deadline has passed, and payment will be handled directly at check-in.

Note on little ones: if your kid is a professional cuddler and can sleep in the bed with you, there is absolutely no extra cost.

When the celebrations wind down, we will arrange a return shuttle bus back to both Pisa (PSA) and Rome (FCO) airports for those who need it.
That being said, it is Italy! It is an absolutely lovely place, so we highly encourage you to extend your trip, take some extra time to explore, and turn this into a proper holiday of your own.
